Definition
A feature that has been proven acceptable for use under specified conditions either through crash testing or in-service performance. Also, a system that has been successfully crash-tested to a currently acceptable crash test matrix and test level or one that can be geometrically and structurally evaluated as equal to a crash-tested system.
