Headways (Bthkh)

Definition
The time, in seconds, between two successive vehicles as they pass a point on the roadway, measured from the same common feature on both vehicles (e.g., the front axles or the front bumpers). Also, the time, usually expressed in minutes, between the passing of the front ends of successive transit units (vehicles or trains) moving along the same lane or track in the same direction.
