Conduits (Pbpbd)

Artificial or natural channels; usually a closed structure such as a pipe or culvert. Also, a general term for any channel intended for the conveyance of water, whether open or closed; any container for flowing water. With highways, conduits are often considered as being a pipe, culvert, flume, channel, chute, or similar drainage facility. (Source: AASHTO Glossary)
