Eccentricity (Rkmg)

An expression descriptive of the position of a bridge constriction not centrally located in the flood plain. Eccentricity, if considerable, has an effect upon the discharge coefficient. High eccentricity tends to decrease the discharge coefficient and increase the backwater. (Source: AASHTO Glossary)
